II- He never regretted his decision. No matter how hard Dazai beats him, how often he shoots at him, Akutagawa can only see it as a test to his strength. He must get stronger, he must hone the beast. The taste of metal from bullets and blood are surprisingly similar but Rashomon devours both greedily.And for a while, everything felt right. All he lived for was for the approval of his mentor. If a demon such as Dazai acknowledged him, then he was the strongest being in the city and no one could take him down. Yet the tides change with time. His mentor leaves the mafia with barely any warning and Akutagawa is left behind in a new type of hell.This hell is comfortable, there's a roof over his head, there's food on the table. His sister is safe and thriving, even if under the same darkness as him. But it's all meaningless if he can't be strong. No matter how much fear he inspires from friend and foe alike, Akutagawa feels that is nothing compared to the praise of his mentor. But he cannot find him.He carries with the hope that eventually Dazai will return, that it's just a passing cloud and the moon will reveal the man in black once more.But then he meets his new student.Atsushi is weak. Over emotional. Ready to throw his life for the most meaningless causes. He is everything Akutagawa hates, especially when he gets Dazai's approval without barely an attempt. And just like any other weaklings he must die.However, even that he is denied. Not only does the weretiger survive every injure he causes, he's also forced to work alongside him. Their companionship is awkward at best and volatile at worst. A competition is born, endorsed by Dazai and fueled by Akutagawa. He will prove himself worthy, he will surpass the weretiger. He will be stronger.

I - A living proof that devils aren't made but born from the depths, Akutagawa was brought into hell before he even got to witness the world around him. The sunken slums of Yokohama never gave him a chance to be anything other than a ruthless being. The slums themselves scar him with it's air, for the smoke chars the lungs of anyone that couldn't handle it's strength and he was undoubtedly weak to it.Yet fumes were the least of his concern growing up. Being part of the poorest section of the city comes with more than just a weak health. Violence, starvation, homelessness, death, those were the most common elements present in his life. One night eight kids would fall asleep, the next morning only seven would wake from the cold. If one is not fast enough the slum dogs could shred limbs in a blink. One day's worth of work would pay for a meal only to be stolen by gangs loitering the slums. An overheard transaction of diamonds could prove the ticket way out, but the mafia rarely allows any witness to live.But death is hardly the end.After witnessing his friends perish to the hands of the mobsters, bullets piercing deeper than a dogs teeth, Akutagawa's true rage blooms. His sister is left behind injured but there was no turning back. The dead need vengeance and he would drag those six men with him to the grave.
However to his contempt someone got them before he could. The men lay dead at his feet, and a bandaged man in black smiles with a question. Would he rather be his student or receive enough money that he and his sister would never have to worry about poverty again?To Akutagawa the answer was simple. It's a dog eat dog world, the weak cannot survive. In a fit of rage he joins the man in black and thus the Port Mafia.But even though the black hound was given a home, it still attacks whoever it pleases.

III - Death has been close since the day he first drew breath. He had to accept it, be it for his raging coughs that remind the end is near or the type of life he leads as a mafioso, Akutagawa knows Death is a friend by his shoulder. A dragon that devours bullets and blood alike. One that devours his own life. But he's not afraid. After all, how could he fear something that's been with him since he can remember.It's eat or be eaten, kill or be killed, alive or dead.He never wished for a long life anyways.There's no need for last words when he was always about action. Rashomon slices through the ship in an attempt to escape but he's still slashed.His jugular ruptures, he smirks at Atsushi. He can still have him escape. He can slice the ship, until his very last breath.In the end, Rashomon is but a blood stained shirt as his corpse lays on the ground. But like he has learnt many times through his life, death is hardly the end.

What should be seen as a quality becomes a weapon in his hand, as he sees the world in either prey or predator. Due to this he barely has any close connections, as friend and foe will be deemed beneath if they prove to be weaklings. The only person he places above him is Dazai, as he deeply respects his ex-mentor despite everything that was done to him. This however, doesn't mean he blindly follows whatever the man says, as he still keeps his convictions that the weak should die, leading him to either kill or command someone to their death.This is further reflected upon himself by his constant fear of being a burden. He does not wish or seek help for it only proves his own weakness and he cannot bear to be in debt to anyone.A rage full devil, Akutagawa seeks no allies but his own shadow, acting alone without orders and bringing chaos with him. With that he has earned the name of Black Fanged Hellhound, something he despises for he dislikes dogs.

+ Range: Close to Long range==  Description  ==Rashomon is an ability that is summoned through cloth, usually Akutagawa summons it through is black jacket but it can be summoned from other fabrics as well, as long as he's wearing them.When summoned it transforms according to what Akutagawa needs at the time since it's adaptable. Mostly recognized as a single black dragon head that can devour space and prevent enemies from approaching Akutagawa. Rashomon can consume anything but it needs time to activate for it to happen. Thus it's mostly used as a defense mechanism in that form.However, when it's not in it's dragon head form, Rashomon is a versatile weapon. It can slash, dig, restrain, even serve as medical support at times since it can serves as a cast of sorts.As a piece of cloth, it can be discarded by Akutagawa if he needs to defend himself, leaving Rashomon in the fabric to take the blow. This can be also used to support other people in fights, as long as they have the piece of clothing where Rashomon is currently residing, they can use them with Akutagawa's orders.

==  Forms  ==As a versatile weapon, Rashomon can take many forms. The most used forms will be as follows:+ Rashomon: Agito: Rashomon is shaped into the form of a jaw to crush the target.+ Rashomon: Murakumo: Rashomon becomes a gigantic clawed appendage which extends from Akutagawa's arm. It can be used to carry out an attack.+ Rashomon: Higanzakura: Rashomon changes to a tendril-like form, wrapping around the target and lifting him up high in the air. Once at an appropriate height and distance, Rashōmon explodes into several finely-developed flower spikes.+ Rashōmon: Sawarabi: Several spikes spring up from the ground to thoroughly impale the target.

There are far more forms Rashomon can take however they won't be listed for simplifying purposes. The rest of the forms can be found here. As a general, Rashomon will act as a living cloth, doing Akutagawa's bidding. It is not sentient. It can be countered with a nullifying ability or overpowered if Akutagawa reaches his limit.Using Rashomon doesn't appear to exert too much from him, however due to his illness, whenever he has a coughing attack he's left somewhat vulnerable.

==  Important Items  ==+ Black Trench Coat - It's the piece of clothing he uses the most to summon Rashomon. It also holds sentimental value as this was the coat previously used by Dazai. The coat is a symbol of his mentorship within the mafia. It's original owner was Mori, the head of the mafia, who himself passed the jacket to Dazai as a sign that he was under his mentorship.

==  Extra Info  ==+ He dislikes dogs due to his poor upbringing where children were often targets of wild dogs in the slums. He can recall a friend nearly losing his arm for sleeping at the wrong place.+ Despite his old man tastes, he actually has a sweet tooth. He easily falls for chocolate, as it was one of the few things he managed to buy as a kid. One time, he spent his whole salary in chocolate bars and ate until he passed out.+ The lore will be taken from the canon line of Bungo Stray Dogs, although I will use some information provided by the light novel/manga Bungo Stray Dogs: BEAST for headcanons as well as childhood background.
